Connect Roku to TV 🔌 HDMI + Power + Wi-Fi

Unbox and Connect

Plug your Roku device into an HDMI port on your TV. Connect the power adapter to a wall outlet.

Power On

Turn on your TV and select the correct HDMI input. The Roku welcome screen appears.

Pair the Remote (if needed)

Insert batteries and follow on-screen prompts. Hold the pairing button if required.

Choose Language & Country

Select your preferred language and country.

Connect to Wi-Fi

Select your wireless network, enter the password, and connect. The device may download software updates.

Activate Your Roku

A unique activation code appears on screen. On your phone or computer, go to roku.com/link, sign in or create a Roku account and enter the code.

Complete Setup

Add streaming channels/apps and start watching. 🎉

When the code shows on TV, open roku.com/link on your phone, sign in, and enter the code exactly. Never share this code or your Roku password with anyone.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues & Fixes

Code not working

Restart device and try again. Get a fresh code from the TV screen — old codes expire.

Wi-Fi connection fails

Move closer to router or restart router. Re-enter password carefully (case-sensitive).

Activation email issues

Check spam / junk folder. Confirm you typed the correct email in your Roku account.
